Brexit has rocked the world this week and so Ailsa, at Where’s My Backback, has nominated Exits as the travel theme of the week. I found this beautiful door, with its hand painted Salida or Exit sign, in Valparaiso, Chile. A few chains around that Salida, leaving won’t be so easy.
Looks like a metaphor that England will experience. I always love the way you interpret Ailsa’s themes.

Let’s hope those chains hold fast and a second referendum gives us hope with a more positive vote. However, it isn’t law until it passes Parliament. Good visual!

I can’t see a second referendum happening . Is it constitutional? Britain is in for a shaky time. Yes, it would be nice if the chains hold.

I noticed that too. As much as I agree that the Brexit vote is a poor outcome, to hold the vote again would be an appalling and undemocratic move.

Oops, hit send before finished. An official petition for a second referendum means Parliament needs to take it seriously and consider a second referendum. Referendum a way to gauge public opinion. Laws come from Parliament. Still hope left.
